Do brunettes really do it better?

On a whim last night, I just so happened to purchase some brown hair dye at the store and used it on my hair. I am now officially a brunette. I have gotten a few compliments on it, but haven't run into anyone that really knows me yet. Tomorrow I am back at work at the main building and am interested to hear what people have to say. Should be interesting. I guess that I got this idea hearing that blondes are rare in Korea. I don't want to draw too much attention when I move.

The super bowl was yesterday and was really a great fight between the 2 teams up until the 4th quarter. I am glad that the Saints won though. I think that city has been through so much and deserves to have something good happen to the people who live there. Even if it is only a hometown team victory at one of the largest championship events in the world!

I can't wait to not be working at UMKC anymore. It started out as a part time job just to get me by and now I have been there almost 3 years! I will be glad to say that part of my life is done! Ready to start a new part, in a new year, in a new country, with a new hair color!

Live Together or Die Alone!

I am starting to get really excited about moving to Korea but there are a few things that are on my mind and that I am just going to die without! I have compiled a list.
-my family (of course)
-my friends
-DEODORANT
-ice
-the English language
-American holidays like Independence Day
-American food (the good stuff, not McDonalds!)
-driving
-good radio stations
-diet coke
-MY CELL PHONE
-knowing exactly what I am eating
-clothes (I have heard that it is really hard to find clothes that are bigger than a size 6. That is just great, I will have nothing to buy to wear!)
-my favorite tv shows

Speaking of tv shows, I am soooooooo excited for the last season of Lost to premiere tomorrow night! So excited that in fact I have spent the last month re-watching all of the seasons that I purchased on DVD at Target for $15 per season. Pretty good deal if I say so myself. I made Hector watch them all with me and now he is really excited that Lost premieres on his birthday! He thinks it is the perfect present and is almost as in love with the show as I am.
